Sunday, July 20th, 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Co-lead by Lincoln co-owner, Marc Bourgoin and a soon-to-be-announced special guest.
This is quite the challenging round trip! You'll join to experienced guides on this fantastic paddle to this rocky island, about 10 miles from shore. Explorer John Smith visited it in 1614, but it had been known to Native Americans as a prime fishing area, and today its economy and year-round community is comprised mostly of fishing families. We'll depart from Friendship catching ebb tide out to Monghegan Island.
Together we'll spend a little time stretching our legs on the island and enjoying picnic lunches from Old World Gourmet. Our return will be timed with low tide, and we'll paddle back for a solid day's paddle. Optional - Group dinner at Moody's Diner. This trip is open water.
Experienced, high stamina paddlers only.
This 28 mile round trip is $125 per paddler.
